The 38 students we are currently funding, at private and public universities and colleges in three cities across Burkina Faso, are studying a wide range of subjects. These are a few of their stories:
Romera is enrolled in the Institut Supérieur de Génie Electrique (Higher Institute of Electric Engineering) in Burkina, studying informatics and telecommunication.
Zoulfadzou is the second member of our women’s soccer team to go on to higher education with our support.
Marie-Madeleine is starting her mechanical engineering studies in Bobo Dioulasso.
Guémilatou was a member of our girls’ soccer team and has successfully finished her first year in topography in Ouagadougou.
Roukiatou is studying laboratory analysis.
Stéphanie is a brilliant young woman studying at law school.
Augustine is studying French at university and she hopes to graduate in 2024.
Thérèse has concluded her second and last year for a Master’s in business and tax law, after completing her degree with an average of 17/20.
